Computer freezes
I upgraded my system to Windows 7 and purchased Acronis 2013. Previously on Windows Vista I was using Acronis 9. When I updated to Win 7 it said 9 was not compatible and I had to upgrade to 2013.
I am trying to do a 'Full' backup to an external Seagate drive. The program seems to run. I get the green bar and it will say estimated time is 2-3 hours xx minutes. Then about 1/4 to 2/3 of the way through the program freezes, and state the estimated time will be 3-5 hours. At this point my whole computer locks up forcing a hard shut down.

I am using the latest build 6514. Version 9 was on my old OS Vista. I did a clean install and it wiped everything, so no version 9 was not still installed.
I did not try a repair install but just recently updated to the latest version. Wouldn't that have fixed the install?
Should I uninstall and reinstall. If so would you suggest downloading a fresh copy of v2013?

No need to redownload the installer Carol, just run the 6514 installer again and you'll get a repair option.
