Computer wakes up for backup when it is not requested
Hello
I recently switched from ATI 2011 to ATI2012 to ATI2013
All works well but I discovered that True image 2013 wakes up my PC to start a scheduled backup job yet I have the "wake up the sleeping/hibernating computer" unchecked in my backup jobs?
Could this be a bug or am I doing something wrong.
Any others who experience the same?
Thanks for sharing your experiences.
Kind regards

Thanks for this reply
I'm not completely sure whether or not these are "old" backup jobs.
I deinstalled ATI 2012 completely (also deleted c:\programdata\acronis and c:\users\username\appdata\local\acronis\) prior to the 2013 installation and I didn't let Acronis "find" the older backups automatically.
So I browsed manually to the existing backups and created new scheduled jobs.
However , the online backup, that I also use, was "found" automatically by Acronis.
So I don't know, are these new jobs or old ones?
I'll try with a completely new job to see how Acronis behaves then.
I'll try this over the weekend.

Well, I did some tests this weekend and I'm even more confused.
I tried a new backup job and this time the computer didn't wake up for backup no matter what setting I choosed (wake up or do not wake up)
Then each time after unwaking the PC manually, backup was performed becaused the option is checked by default to perform missed backup at startup.
Then I unchecked "perform backup at startup, when missed after X seconds" and tried again
No automatic wakeup but Acronis still performed the backup after I unwaked the pc myself...
If ever I find any (more) logic in this, I'll be happy to let you know.
If anyone can explain this behaviour, please do, I'm interested
Kind regards
