As I said in a previous reply to one of your other posts, True Image has no way of knowing it has just been restored and if a task is due to be run, it will run it.

One way around this (and this has been with TI since TI 8) is to ensure that the backup disk (if external) is not connected when the system is rebooted.

However, if a task you have deselected run if missed, and TI 2015 with that task marked like that is contained in the image, and on restore it resets itself that indeed is a problem.

Check that the disk image contained a copy of TI 2015 with the task showing the run at startup option unchecked. Also note that with 2015 there is no universal setting it is per task, so you need to do this for each task you make, otherwise those tasks not specifically unchecked will still run.

Make sure you are deselecting 'Run if task missed' , not 'Do not run at startup'.

but if i restore the backup from external drive how can i disconnect????when i check do not schedule i can't avoid ''run at sytem startup''checking box!!when i uncheck and reopen advance settings the ''run at sytem startup'' is again checking!!!
also in TI2014 i have not similar issues.in 2014 i choose onle do not schedule and everything is fine

there isn't missed backup box.only run at sytem startup and ''when external drive is attached

Vasilis,

Does your system not reboot after you restore an image or is this a non system disk you are restoring?

Hello vasilis nikolopoulos, i have some questions.

Which operatingsystem you are using?

If the Operatingsystem starting with UEFI?

The problem occurs only, if you restore a Backup, who created under Windows with ATI 2015? (Backups created from ATI 2015 Boot CD are not affected)

I saw the same thing happen in a Windows 10 system. I did a clean install of Windows 10 on a UEFI system to a GPT disk. I installed TI 2015 to see what would happen. It installed with no problem. I ran a full disk backup from within Windows to an internal hard drive. I told TI 2015 to NOT schedule the backup. Then I did a test restore of the full disk from a WinPE recovery media. It restored properly and I booted back into Windows 10 successfully. A short time later, I noticed there were two backups of the system on the internal hard drive. I was not sure how or when the second backup was done, but my conditions do match those of the original poster except his backup was done to an external hard drive.
