Creating bootable restore media

Thread needs solution

Hello everyone. I am using a registered and activated copy of True Image 2015. My flash drive that I have my bootable restore media on took a dive on me and now I am trying to create a new image on a different drive. However I can create it, boot to it, and choose True Image 2015 from the selection screen but when I go to make an image of a drive I get an error message saying that that function is not available because I using a trial version of the software. How can I restore my flash drive when I can even create bootable media? Aslo I tried to make CD and it did the same thing.

Hi Joshua,
Please download a bootable .iso image free from your Acronis User Account.

I recently downloaded and created a 2015_6613 bootable CD that is working without issue. I haven't tried creating media from the software myself, but believe the problem you mentioned has been reported by others.

If you can use the media on a CD you should burn the downloaded ISO to that medium, you'll have less problems booting it up.

If you can´t use a CD try to update to version 6613 of TI2015 and write your flash drive again.
Acronis states to have this bug fixed.
