Creation of True Image bootable CD with Plus pack universal recovery

Thread needs solution

Is it possible to create Universal Restore compatible disk partition image tib file with bootable CD without Plus pack?
Or is the tib file always the same?

Does there must be included a Plus Pack on bootable CD also when creating a disk image tib file or is it required only for recovering?

When I created a bootable CD with Plus pack installed, it's ISO is exactly of the same size as without Plus pack.
Does that means that Plus pack installation and Boot CD with Plus pack creation has failed?

I booted from Acronis ATI2013 Plus Pack CD and checked with previous disk image and there is no Universal Restore option.

A standard install of 2013 will create backups than can be used with Universal Restore. The Plus Pack does not need to be installed.
The reason you install the Plus Pack is for dynamic drive support, and the ability to create both the Linux based and WinPE based Rescue Media (both will contain the Plus Pack option). The Rescue Media ISO and corresponding CD/DVD that you create are the same size with and without the Plus Pack, but the Universal Restore option is only present if you have the Plus Pack installed when creating the Rescue Media from within True Image.
Both of the downloadable ISO's from Acronis (the Standard and Plus Pack versions) are 301MB, but are different. When booted to the Rescue Media, the Universal Restore option only shows up when you are restoring a backup image that contains a system drive or partitions that contain an OS and any related bootable active system partitions.

Thanks for info.
After several retrials the Universal Restore finally showed up. Indeed, likely there was some problem with recognizing op system partitions. When C: and Win 7 System Reserved partition was also selected, only then appeared universal restore.

If doing a Universal Restore, I would think that you should select the entire disk and not just an individual partition. Too many users post here with woe after restroing just C:, mistakenly assuming that they need only that partition.
