Customer Support Down?

Thread needs solution

Hello everyone! I'm a new user of this product, so I'm just trying to learn what I can do with the program. Great tips scattered through out this forum. Thanks!! And it is the slowest forum I have ever used.

Just tried to get thru to support by Live Chat or the Web Form. Have not been able to to get there. When I click the Chat button or the Submit button, nothing happens. It was doing this yesterday afternoon and still this morning. I have three question I would like answers to, but don't know how else to reach them. Has anyone else tried and got thru. I got thru to Chat two days ago with no problem. Is this common or something new.

Thanks for any help!

If your questions have to do with using the features of the program, leave them here.  There are lots of knowledgeable, experienced users willing to help.

SAR41 - I have never ever been able to get through the form!  Just like you - I'm hoping to get answers here.  I searched through the net and Acronis forces you to use their form which isn't working.  Wow - great support.

dh, Thanks, I think I will post my questions here. I'll start a new topic. Just wasn't sure if I would be asking too much. But I'm sure there are enough people here that will be able to answer my questions.

Nevins, I reached them once two days ago and the chat I had was helpful. Just can't seem to get thru again.  Thanks.

Hello.
I have been happily using Acronis True Image Home 11.0 but decided to buy Upgrade to 2010 as saves files as you go along; and the kids have lost a few lately.

Can't get it to install after the initial blue control board screen. When I click on install I get a red cross and the message "Failed to read the file. You probably do not have enough permission to perform this operation".

Running XP and there is only one account in use!
Can't even get it to install and there seems to be no telephone or chat support as was promised in the adverts. I think other people are saying this too.

Any help appreciated.
Neil

Did you uninstall v11 before installing 2010?

I'd suggest trying this first.

Whatever happened to the email tech support? While it took a while for Acronis to respond, it usually solved the problem.

Neil, I just got the same problem. I re-downloaded the installation .exe and it worked fine.
