delete file backups when NAS connection is lost

Thread needs solution

Hi

  1. How do I delete a backup I no longer need when the original connection with the NAS where the backup was is no longer there and cannot be restored?
  2. After backing up for several months I'm suddenly asked for a Windows account. I've tried any combination I can think of and none works.  Note that I did not set up a Windows account in the advanced backup properties when setting it up.

My problems seem to stem from my Linksys NMH405's inability to connect reliably to the home network. I've had the router assigning it a static IP address but still the connection is haphazard.

I run Win7/64 on all boxes.

thanks for any help!

Claudio

Claudio,

Do you just want to delete the task and available images list or delete the actual tib file as well?

How do you access the NAS, by IP, UNC or mapped?
