Destination for storing backup

Thread needs solution

I have just tried TI Home 2012.
All I can do to select the location for backup appears to pick a drive(partition) and can not go beyond. A sub-folder named as "Mybackup" is automatically created at the root of the drive and the backup image was stored in it. Another word, unlike TI Home 2010, I can not pick any sub-folder nor create one and name as I want for backup storage location.
Or, is there a way to do it as can be done with TI Home 2010?

When you configure the backup click on the destination tab and scroll down to the Browse tab. Then you can browse to any folder or create a new folder on any partition.

Also, there you wil find that you can give the backup just about any name you want.

As described by Rajan and Scott. The name of the backup file can only be assigned as part of the path as shown below.

Be sure and write that fact down ;) . Ime, and that of my client's it's the thing in ATI most likely to be forgotten when needed:

how do I change the name of my backups?

Many of us think of the filename as the what (or who) and the path as the where, two very different things. But if you think of the filename and the path as essentially one thing, like a programmer, it will make perfect sense -- or, as we used to call it under DOS, the fully qualified file name

Sometimes a picture works the best in memory retention.

lol, sure, so long as you remember where you left the picture.

Thanks Scott. You made my day!
