Differential Drive Backup has somehow split; can they be re-merged?

Thread needs solution

This is in regards to TIH 2011, running on Windows 7 x64, and it appears to be complicated to explain; sorry for going into detail here:

I have a drive backup set up to run every Monday; after 4 differential backups the next full backup is created. There's also a quota set at 180 GB. So, currently I'm having the following .tib files:

MyBackup
MyBackup(8) (see below)
MyBackup(9)
MyBackup(9)2 ... 5
MyBackup(10)

For some reason this week the backup didn't work, so I had to remove it through Acronis. After that my backup task suddenly showed up as two different tasks:

One is labelled "MyBackup(9)", and if I look at all the versions I see all versions excluding full backup #(10). If I click on "consolidate" it only shows me the 5 #(9) backups. I tried to repair the backup by consolidating #(8), but it didnÄt help (that's why #(8) only has a single full backup file).

The other task is labelled "MyBackup"; it only shows me a single version, which is the most recent full backup ("MyBackup(10)"). If I click on "consolidate" it first tells me that there's only one backup file available, so I can't consolidate. But then Acronis shows the dialog containing all available backup files listed above.

So, what I'm asking: is there a way to re-merge my tasks into one, to show the entire backup thread as one task? I wouldn't mind manually editing xml files if I knew the order and correct attributes...

Greets,
Lothar
