Disable Acronis Bootable Agent - loop prevents startup
Hi all!
I have used Acronis True Image many times before and never had any issues.
But now, problems have started. I added a larger hard drive in my system and wanted to clone the old one to it. After Acronis asked me to reboot, I always get the message "Acronis bootable agent is waiting for removable devices". Both of my hard disks are connected via SATA, which would give me the fastest clone instead of cloning via USB. When I click "wait", the message appears again after a few seconds. When I click "No" (to "not wait", obviously :) ), the system restarts and goes back into the bootable agent. If I click "Cancel", same thing: reboot and back into the agent.
So two options:
1) Can anyone tell me how to disable that bootable agent? Because now I can't start up my system and do anything because of that?!
or
2) How do I need to connect my drives? I suppose things should be working fine, connected via SATA. Or are there any other things that can be tested to make the clone work?
--> In any case, highest priority now is to get my computer back up and running! Cloning can then be done later on, unless it can be resolved now of course.
Thank you very much for your suggestions and answers in advance!
