Ditching Dual Boot XP & Win 7 64 bit in favour of Win7 64 bit drive only

Thread needs solution

I am considering ditching my current dual boot XP Pro + Win 7 64 bit and going the Win 7 64 bit route. Currently each OS is on its own drive. After an extensive period of testing my XP software on Win 7 I have found that with the exception of one or two older pieces of XP software, everything runs on Win 7 just fine. So I now see no need to keep XP any longer. What I would like to know is what is the best way to proceed? I have TI2010 + Plus Pack, both are the latest vesions. I have taken an image of my Win7 drive. Should I clone my existing Win 7 64 bit drive or remove both HDD's and install Win 7 on my new 1TB drive then restore my data and partitions using TI2010. I am a bit worried that if I go the clone HDD route that I may run foul of MBR problems, which I want to avoid.

Any advice would be very gratefully received.
