Does an archive restore reformat the drive ?

Thread needs solution

I have a spare drive that has been formatted into one ntfs partition. I have an tib image with three primary partitions. One FAT16, FAT32, and NTFS primary partition. When I restore the partitions to the spare drive and choose the location, size and partition types during the restore process will ATI Home 2010 take care of reformatting the drive or is this something I need to do prior to starting the restore process?

There is no need to format any drive, TI does this during the restore.
Download and read GroverH's restore guides before carrying out the restore, the link is listed at the right of this page under Terms of Use.

Thanks Como,

I should have assumed it would have been mentioned in the documentation if it were needed
