download URL for SnapAPI produces gibberish

in response to the Knowledge base article regarding the following:

25370: Acronis True Image Home 2012: Error While Cloning “Failed to open (initialize) the computer: Failed to initialize the snapshot manager library.(0x100005)”.

I try to download SnapAPISetup.msi. The page produces gibberish, and the end result is that I cannot download.

I need to fix the issue above, but can't at this point.

my equipment is Windows 7 64-bit running in i7 intel processor. This is a new machine. and a previous install went wrong. I have made my backup but i can't do anything else on the Tools and Utilities page.

I've never had trouble with acronis products before, and this is 2012 version. is there a fix for even getting the snap api?
