E-mail notification settings not sticking

Hi Folks,

I'm an IT consultant who recommends Acronis True Image Home for my residential clients.

Recently, on the last two ATIH 2012 installations I did (both are build 7119; the latest as of this writing), I experienced the same issue in setting up e-mail notifications.

I go in to the Notifications tab and enter in all the proper credentials.
I generate a test message, which has always been successful.
I click OK to close that section and then Save at the next window.
I open up the backup settings and go back to the Notification settings and EVERYTHING IS GONE!

I've tried this repeatedly, and in slightly different ways, but in both cases, all the settings I put into that section disappear after I save and close all the settings.

Ordinarily, I would think I am simply doing something wrong, but I've set up this version and previous versions, many, many times. Suddenly with these two installations, the e-mail notifications settings are not sticking.

This appears to be a bug, given that it is happening for two different clients on two differnt machines.

Both machines are running 64 bit Windows 7. One is running Pro, the other Home Premium.
The machines are in completely different locations and are for different locations.
Acronis has been activated on each machine.

Any thoughts?

This is a known problem with 7119 but there are some workarounds as per this link.
