E000101F4 Acronis True Image Has Not Found Any Hard Disk Drives

I had an old P4 Dell with SATA HDD running W7. Acronis True Image Home 10.0 build 4942 worked fine. I upgraded my computer to a dual core computer with SATA HDD.

When I boot from the Acronis True Image Home 10.0 build 4942 Rescue media disk (I always use TI Home from the boot disk) in full version on my new computer, I get E000101F4 Acronis True Image Has Not Found Any Hard Disk Drives. I can boot from the Acronis True Image Home 10.0 build 4942 Rescue media disk in safe version, and it sees the HDD. Problem is I have my backup file on a network and can't see the network in safe mode. In full version, I see the network but not the HDD.

I can boot from the HDD. I even deleted the entire drive and created a new single partition and installed clean W7.

Why does it work on a POS Dell w/SATA and not a dual core w/SATA?
Why does it see the HDD in safe and not in full? I have downloaded every module allowed by my SN. Getting out my credit card is not the answer...

Your new computer has a different chipset and it is very likely that the v10 recovery CD doesn't contain the right linux drivers for that controller. There is nothing you can do to fix this. Try with 2011. 2011 comes with a very good linux-based 2010 version for the bootable media.
