I've been using Acronis for years and never had a problem cloning my hard drive. Yesterday I did and after searching through every solution, I was able to come up with my own. When you want to clone your hard drive, disable your internet connection. That's what's (probably) changing your partition configuration and not letting you clone your drive. By disabling your internet connection while you're cloning your drive, you should more easily be able to complete the task
