Error when trying to backup

I am running xp pro and acronis 2010 home. I have symantec anti virus corporate v10 installed but have auto protect disabled. I am trying to backup the c drive to a second internal drive. I get this error and program operation quits.
I have scanned both drives for sector errors and have found none.

How can I resolve this?

I believe this is resolved. I uninstalled True Image 2010 and also removed an old snap msi I had installed for an older version. I did this from the add remove programs in control panel. I rebooted and reinstalled just the True Image 2010, rebooted and it seems to be ok.
