Estimation of backup/image file size

Can the TI Home current release present the user with
estimation of image/backup file resulted from tasks going to be started?
In this particular case, one prefers to wipe out some files
from stuff being backed up instead of splitting backup files
because backup target media has fixed size and is not planned
to be resized. Stuff in backup has the property that it relative easy
to find unimportant items.
