Explore and recover "files and folders" tab is EMPTY, though the .tib is 400GB+

Thread needs solution

I have been trying without success to backup my "data" partition. It is store on a separate drive from my system partition, and is labeled D:. I am running Acronis True Image Home 2011 plus pack, update 2 build 6868 and windows 7 x64.

The backup takes ages to complete (which is a good sign) but when I visit "explore and recover" to try and take a quick peek at my files, I can't see any. It appears to "access the location" fine, shows Data (D:) as available for recovery in the "disks and partitions" tab. But if I visit the "files and folders" tab the most I can see is "My Computer" and then "D:" and then a great white void!

Please help,

p.s. Backing up the C drive appears to work just fine.

When you double click on the TIB file, can you see your files then?

On many Win7 systems, there is a system reserved partition on the system disk. This system reserved has no drive letter in Windows. When you double click a TIB file of a disk and partitio backup of such system disk, the system reserved partition will be assigned the letter D. This D drive could not the same as your D partition.
Are you sure there is no other "disk" showing up when you double click on the TIB file?

Pat, I can only see a single "disk" in the .tib file D:

When I initially created the backup I was careful to select the correct partition (don't remember the exact process, but was already having problems, so was careful). The backup file has increased in size as the size of the content of the D: drive proper has increased in the last week, so I really think I've got the right partition and the info is being stored, perhaps it's a bug in the interface?
