Extremely confusing email reports

Thread needs solution

I don't know about everyone else, but I always expect the final status of a report to reflect the whole report. Yet the final status on this report is "Operation has succeeded" and the line right before it indicates a complete failure.

I really don't care that the scheduled backup job completed successfully if it didn't actually do a backup.

It would seem that the Error Handling option 'Do not show messages and dialogs while processing' is ticked in either the task options or global options box, then further to that the free space threshold box has been ticked and has an amount entered.

This action should override the 'don't annoy me with messages' option, so in Acronis thinking the log file is logically correct. TI thinks you are running out of imaging space, that requires an error message box or alert, it can't perform the imaging using non alert mode, so non alert mode cannot be 'performed' - in other words you should be getting an alert - if there is still space then the imaging should continue, hence the ' I'm done, I 've worked' final message.

Is there an actual updated image on your drive?

Are you actually getting short on disk space on the drive you are imaging to?

I didn't get an email update on this - sorry.

It does not create an image.

There is space to do so.

It has done this when there is 700 GB free and a full backup requires 300 GB and there is only one other backup on the system.

Last night it did the same thing.

It would sure be helpful if the criteria for cancelling the process was explicit in the log. Like: Space Needed: X GB, Space Available: y GB.

Is there a way to set it to completely automate the clean up of hard disk space like I had with Ghost 14 ?
