F11 boot startup and incorporation of ISO file

Thread needs solution

Hi
I have use the the boot Recovery CD with supplied ISO file from Acronis, which works well.

But is it possible to incorporate this ISO file somehow in the creation of the BOOT procedures used in the F11 recovery from disk booting of C drive. As the Acronis software uses the embedded files which do not work.

Hello Kim,

Let me comment this situation.

Actually, the main difference between the CD created from the product and one you've downloaded from your account as ISO image is that they are based on different loaders. One on Acronis loader and second on Linux loader. Please check this article for the detailed information.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to combine those CD's into one.

As the Acronis software uses the embedded files which do not work.

Could you please clarify, what do you mean here? Which components do not work? If you receive any error message during the process, please let me know its exact text.

Additionally to this, you are welcome to ask me any other questions concerning Acronis, and I will assist you further.

Regards,

In previous versions of TI you could replace several of the ASRM files with those in the ISO file and then reactivate the ASRM. Here is an example. I would think the same would apply to TI 2010.
