Failed to add backup

I have just installed Win 8 64 bit, previously using Win 8 32 bit. Backups made with True Image 2013 in Win 8 32 bit, wont add to the backup list, showing the error "failed to add the backup to the backup list...". I have not moved, renamed or touched the backup files which are on a NAS server.

What options do I have to recover data from the Win 8 32 bit backups?

I now have discovered that the "tib" files open from windows explorer (explore asks for the last and first "tib" in the series) and I can recover items. Unfortunately, Acronis doesn't want to recognize these same files. I assume this is a database issue associated with reinstalling Acronis. Any ideas how to resolve?

Problem resolved. I copied the archives.xml file from the windows.old backup into the acronis/trueimagehome/database directory and now the backup tib files link correctly and the backup is fine. Seems like the "add backup" option in tih 2013 is unreliable.
