Failed- File Back up

Thread needs solution

I am trying to back up local drive F (Data) & one data folder on C drive.

Running XP pro., all programs are a fresh install yesterday. Acronis is latest downloaded version.

Online back up appears to be working fine. Non stop back up has worked & so has back up image of C.

Local back ups are to external usb hard drive.

Previously before new install of op sys & all other progs the back up was working fine with initial & incremental back ups.

I am getting an error message & failure to execute a file back up

Here is the last line from log, I am not sure if this message has anyuthing to do with why my first initial full back up is not working.

Any help apreciated

I have deleted back up from Acronis command screen & will try again once the online back up has completed. (could be a day or two!)

I assume only one back up of whatever kind can run at once?

sorry very confusing: You setup a backupplan which worked and now after a few days started to fail with the error
"Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service"?

Are you creating a file based backup only or maybe also a image?

Please check also: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/304101 and relevant google hits.

the log is from acronis relating to file back up only.
non stop back up & system back up (c drive ) have worked fine, but I want am incremental daily back up of data.
I am now getting a failure to back up online aswell! I may try chat support reluctyantly,............ but theyve never been able to fix problems in the past & end up spending hours logged into my system trying to find the fault/uninstall/reinstall, with no fixes.

It is possible that your backups cannot access some system resource (like the volume shadow copy) if they run at the same time and there are open files.
