Falk Navi- Manager does not work with Acronis 2012

Thread needs solution

Until I installed True Image Home 2012, the Falk Navi Manager was working quite well. After the installation my PC could not see my Navi.
After a complet new installation of Win7 the Navi was shown as a disk until I installed Acronis true image again.
By Falk support I was informed, that Acronis has a tool, but I could not find it.

What tool? To do what?

I've never heard of Falk Navi Manager and have no idea what it is. There are some known conflicts between ATI and some applications, such as some anti-virus, so it's possible that it doesn't work well with Falk Navi Manager installed. You should send details to Acronis Support.

I assume the issues you are having are when you connect your Falk GPS unit to your Windows system when Acronis True Image 2012 is installed, and the USB connected GPS device is not recognized correctly. Issues with USB connected devices are sometimes caused by incompatibilities between the USB device and Acronis's disk filter drivers. Be sure you are running the latest version of 2012. The issue may still be present even with the lastest 2012 version. You can also try updating your SnapAPI drivers in 2012 using this link: http://kb.acronis.com/content/25347.
2013 uses new filter drivers, and they may be more compatible with your device.
You can try installing the trial version of 2013 to see if it works any better with your GPS device. If not, you would need to contact Acronis directly to discuss a possible solution.
