File Backup produces an empty folder

Thread needs solution

In the last several weeks, every File Backup I run produces only an empty folder. For the backup I select 'Documents and Settings' on the C drive and give it an external HD as a destination. I have done this many times before without any problem.

I re-checked settings and could find nothing atypical of prior uses. Most recently I deleted the 'Docs & Settings' backup program saved by True Image, and then created a new one, employing the options I have always used.... and even then I get the same result.

TI runs about half a minute and writes a folder 'Documents and Settings" to the external HD, which more than 2Tb of available space. That folder is empty, zero contents. Size = 4Kb.

Today I double checked my Backup setup to be sure all folders within 'C:/Documents and Settings' were also checked by the single action of checking the root folder 'D&S'. That is true.

I don't know what else to look at that could be causing this problem. Finally, after many weeks of not producing a good backup file, the risk of going forward presses in on me. Need to get it fixed. Your help appreciated.

Thanks, Dean
