files being saved/created on both Hard Drives after clone disk performed

Thread needs solution

I have been using Tru Image 11.0 to clone disk on my Windows 7 Desktop since it came out. I have used the cloned disk to handle a defective C: drive several times.. was going to do a clone disk today from Disk 1 to Disk 2 on my desktop, but for some reason the Clone operation pointed to Disk 2 as being the source which usually nevers happens. After further investigation, it appears as though everytime I modify a file on the original 'C' drive (250GB Serial Sata)and save it, the file also gets modified on my 'G' Drive (500GB Serial Sata).. Did I do something wrong last time I 'cloned' the C drive, as I would only expect the desktop to goto the G drive IF I told it to go there, so that if my C drive dies, I could just make the G drive the the primary drive (C drv), boot it up from the last Image 11.0 run, and then buy a new drive , Make it the G drive and clone it again to have a good backup..
