Fixed IP settings to connect to NAS are not kept

Thread needs solution

Today I tried to recover an Image from a NAS.
The NAS is not connected via DHCP, but via a fixed IP address.
When I configure the IP addresses during recovery, and change from display, the IP settings have been disappeared. So, I can not make connection to the NAS.
I don't like to copy the image first to a USB drive, before I can use it.

I am not able to do an upgrade, since the computer is not connected to internet. If an upgrade is available that solves this issue, is there a way to download somewhere offline installers?

Downloaded the last version from the internet, and also there I can not select fixed IP addresses. I can fill them in, but they are not kept or used.

HI Martijn, thank you for your postings!

As you were informed in support case, the described behavior is an issue in the product which is going to be fixed in further updates.

In the meanwhile you can use WinPE media with static IP address. E.g. here you can find a related thread.

Thank you.

Referring to the article that Anna pointed out the netsh command talked about needs to be run using an admin command prompt. The command shown in the article "netsh int ip set address local static 10.80.10.35 255.255.255.0 10.80.10.1" is the needed command substituting your network address, subnet, and gateway. Please note that the article does include how to set your DNS which is the root of your problem since you do not have internet connection. Doing that step would go along way in helping with your problem as DNS is essential for establishing connections even on a local network.

I'm glad I came across this post because I'm having the same issue. When I use the rescue media I am unable to save a fixed IP address in the network settings. This seems like a pretty basic requirement, Acronis. I don't use DHCP on my network for security reasons. Can I please have a status as to when this will be fixed?
