Freezes at "Starting Acronis Loader..."

I have installed Acronis 2012.
When I go through Tools and Utilities to clone a disk, I go right through the wizard until it says reboot is required.
I click reboot and PC reboots and comes up with a DOS looking window that says "Starting Acronis Loader..." and does not go any further

Any help would be appreciated
