Going from a 750 HDD to a 64Gb SSD Bootable Drive
I currently have a 750 GB hard drive and I going to a 64GB SSD for my bootable drive. Can Acronis True Image make a disk image of only my os and updates to transfer to the 64 GB SSD, or will it only make a disk image of the entire disk. I am wanting to make the transition without having to reinstall my entire os, deleting off all the junk, and resetting all of my settings. Is this possible?
Thanks for your help!

I do not want to clone the whole drive, just my os. So I guess my question is can I have TI make a backup image of only my OS without cloning my entire Bootable Drive. My current drive only has one partition and everything is installed on it. I want to use the SSD just for my os and a few other select programs and keep everything else on my current boot drive.
Also, can TI move a program from one drive to another?

TI will only clone the entire drive. When you create an image backup you can select files/folders to exclude. Understand that what you're trying to do is not a easy task. Personally, I don't think it's worth the hassle. You could make a backup image of the 750GB drive (to allow restoring it back to its current state), uninstall any programs that need removed, delete any files/folders needed to free space, etc. until the used space is small enough for the SSD. Then, create a new backup and restore that to the SSD.
If you have problems excluding files/folders, you should also be able to Mount an image in read/write mode and delete data from it until it's small enough. The changes will be saved in an Incremental when you unmount the image. Finally, restore the Incremental to the SSD.
If you need any of the removed programs, you would need to reinstall them (selecting another drive as the destination).

You could also reconfigure the 750GB drive. Setup a Windows partition and a Data partition. For example: Shrink the existing single partition and create a new partition at the end of the drive. Move data to the new partition until the Windows partition's used space is small enough for the SSD. Then image the Windows partition and restore it to the SSD.
Make sure the 750GB drive is disconnected when you boot the SSD for the first time after restoring the image (or copying the partition).
