Grafics-Problem when starting Recovery-CD

Thread needs solution

Hallo,

I have generated a recovery disk for True Image 2014.

I run Windows 10 on a Dell inspiron Laptop.

Starting the recovery disk woks well, but it comes up with a corrupted graficsdisplay, so that operation is impossible.

It looks that a wrong grafics driver is loaded on the CD by the Recovery Disc Generator in AI 2014.

What can I do?

Best Regards

Bernd, there have been a number of posts in the forums for similar problems where changes in BIOS have been needed with some newer computers which have dual graphics capability enabled.

There are some settings you can change when creating the recovery disk, such as using vga=ask but this hasn't resolved the issue for some users.

The other way to get around this issue is to build the Windows PE version of the Rescue Media instead of using the standard, Linux based one.
