HELP, HELP, HELP, PLEASE!!! Restoring data to new hard drive using a full back-up, incrementa. & differential updates

Thread needs solution

Hello, Need procedure explained and differences when using Acronis True Image Home 11 for a full back-up of system disk and all partitions, with the intent being to be able to use the stored data to restore the the entire system in the event of a "TOTAL HARD DRIVE FAILURE". I need to understand the procedure and/or steps verses differences using both incremental and differential back-up plans when using an external drive to store the data. So for example, If I were to save (1) full back-up, "DISK & ALL PARTITIONS", then lets say (10) incremental back-ups on my external drive and the PC hard drive failed, requiring a brand new drive to be installed into the PC, what would need to be done step by step to get the new hard drive back to the latest data level? After installing the new hard drive, would I start by doing a restore using the (1) Full Back-Up "Disk & All Partitions" that was saved previously? After completed, would I need to do (10) additional separate restore operations, one for each incremental back-up point saved, to get back to where I was prior to hardware failure? Then same scenerio but but now if I have (10) "DIFFERENTIAL" points saved. Would I do a full back up restore for disk and all partitions and then just have to only restore the latest differential back up to get the system back to the latest level? Please tell me as much as you can as I'm very new to the restore game. Thanks....Hollywood
