How to Backup Win Server 2008(NTFS V6.0) ?

I have new computer using windows server 2008, I want to make the image backup, I have a computer already installed a True Image 2010, I removed windows server 2008 hard-disk using USB connected to the WIN XP computer, when I use True Image 2010 to make the USB-harddisk(windows server 2008) to image, Hownever, the True Image 2010 failed to read the USB-harddisk(windows server 2008) partition format.

Please help, How can I backup the windows server 2008 harddisk
