How can I make TI 2010 work like TI 11

Thread needs solution

In TI 11, I specified a backup location, and then created a weekly task to create a full backup to the location. The backup location had unlimited size, backup and storage period. I would decide when to remove the full backups.

This resulted in TIB files being created with a date/time stamp on a weekly basis.

How do I do the same in TI2010? I've tried specify %date% in the backup name, and this works, but it removes the last weeks backup. How do I get a date in the backup filename but keep the other full backups from past weeks?

This could easily be achieved using Chain2Gen (C2G) which is a helper program for TrueImageHome (TIH). C2G was written by forum contributor MVP Oracledba

TrueImage runs the tasks which does the scheduling and creates the backups, whereas, C2G provides the controls on when the full backup should be created. or how many to be retained. C2G offers many choices.
