How to cecure C-Partition in the right way?

Thread needs solution

Please look at this for the .jpgs:

My question is: If I simply make an Image of C - will it be able to boot after restoring it later?

There are often little partitions on my PCs which I can't identify. At the german forum they told me to backup them with C, but I am not convinced. Probably some (or all?) of them had been left from older systems like lubuntu. It seems to me they disturb the restore.

Thank you!

The small System partition 199MB is the Windows System Reserved partition which holds the Boot Configuration Data store required to boot into the Windows OS.

The HP Tools partition are probably diagnostic tools for the system assuming this is a HP computer.

I would recommend including both of these partitions along with your C: partition if you want to be able to boot succesfully after doing a restore to a new disk drive.
