How to disable Plug and Play?

Thread needs solution

Hello!

I try to clone my Windows 7 Ultimate 32 hole system to another dissimilar Notebook. Both are HP
Pavillion series Notebooks. No any sucseed yet, please help me. I try 2010 and 2013 versions with
Universal Restore installed, same bad results. I get always few errors and blue sreen tying to boot.

I read many chains in this forum and find out that this is really problem. Is there any another trick
to start Windows from backup? I mean that is it possible edit inside TIB file something just before
restore? Remove *.inf or also hole Drivers directory or somthing else?

""Restore uses three sources for drivers search: the list of user-specified (enforced) drivers, driver repository, and the Windows default driver storage folders (in the image being restored). The program will find the most suitable drivers of all available and install them into the restored system. However, the user-defined drivers will have the priority. They will be installed, with appropriate warning, even if the program finds the better driver.

The Windows default driver storage folders are determined in the registry key SOFTWARE -> Microsoft -> Windows -> Current version -> DevicePath. Generally, it is WINDOWS/inf folder.

• You can optionally disable Plug and Play setup after applying Acronis Universal Restore. .Acronis Universal Restore relies on built-in plug-and-play discovery and configuration process to handle hardware differences in devices that are not critical for the system start, such as video, audio, USB""""

My questions is:

How can I disable Plus and Play before starting restore. I need step by step instructions what to do?

Thanks!!!

Aku
