How do I do Incremental Backup in Acronis 11?

I tried to set up incremental backup with Acronis 11. It backed up my entire drive the first time. When I try to run it again it wants to back up the entire drive again even though I have said I want to use incremental mode. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
