How Do I Upgrade My 30GB SSD Boot Drive to 100GB SSD?
Hello all:
I apologize in advance if this question has been answered 1000 times. But I just bought a new computer, and thought I could get by with a 30GB SSD (Boot Drive), but I'm already near filling it to capacity (I've moved my programs to my data mechanical drive), and still only have about 2GB left. In any case, I just purchased the 100GB OCZ Vertex 2, per recommendation of MaximumPC, who also recommends Acronis True Image for the upgrade. When I receive the new SSD in, what Acronis product is best suited for this, True Image, along with the Plus Pack? The reason why I ask is that I don't want to turn my 100GB drive into a 30GB drive with the partition issue, but also the fact that I know zip about SSDs, I'm not sure if cloning it, and then playing with its partition size will affect its performance. Can someone help me out here? Sorry, but I've never done this before.
Thanks for your help,
Ben
