How To Do This in TIH 2011?

Thread needs solution

I have been able to do this with every other version of TIH I have used (at least v10, 11, 2009)... But I cannot seem to figure out how to achieve the same result in 2011. Please help!

I have a single C drive on one disk and a D drive on a removable disk. The D is used ONLY FOR STORING TIH BACKUP FILES. I want to create a nightly scheduled job that takes an image of the C drive and places a single resulting .TIB on the D drive in a known location (D:\AcronisBackups, for example). I do NOT want previous backups over-written. I want new, daily, full backups added until the disk is full and have TIH send email saying the disk is full. I want each newly created full backup file to be validated (and hopefully not all of them but I can deal with this if needed).

I will then swap D disks with another removable disk. I then want to remove any previously made .TIB files from that disk so that there is free space for the nightly job to continue as usual until this new disk is again full. I will swap disks and repeat.

This was so simple in v10 and v11. TIH 2009 was not as obvious but it could be done there as well.

I just don't seem to see how to get this done on 2011. Should be so easy! Thanks for your help.

What about these settings for 2011.

Thanks for the response. Interestingly, I don't see these options presented when I choose to create a custom scheme using full backups. I wonder what's wrong? I also note all kinds of issue when trying to set backup options in general. Things are not being remembered. But I see previously posted articles about this not being fixed until some future release. I give up, am uninstalling and returning 2011 to Amazon where I can still get a copy of trusty (but still not perfect) v11. Acronis seems to really be loosing it. The addition of the meta-database also seems a step backwards.

Perhaps a repair install is required - just rerun the installer it will automatically give you a repair option.

It would be useful if you could provide screen snips (Vista/W7) or a screenshot (XP) of what you do see in the above panels. Some options will only appear under certain conditions.

What is displayed for options depends upon which options are selected.

Thanks for the responses. But as stated, I have given up on this, returned it to Amazon, and ordered version 11 of TIH. What a shame!
