Giancarlo,

When you have a lot of TIB files after a single backup, it is often because the disk where the backup are stored is formatted in FAT or FAT32 (which limit the size of a single file to 2GB or 4GB respectively). In that case, ATI has to split the archive in pieces.

Another reason could be that you have set up ATI to split archive files in the backup options.

There are some tools to migrate seamlessly from FAT to NTFS, but you can simply reformat the drive.

Verify that your target destination is formatted with NTFS filesystem and redo your backup.

honestly I have not figured out how to do, nor how to proceed. you could guide me step by step?. If I understand correctly I should add acronis disk formatted in fat 11 and 32 and then restore backup?

First thing: right click on the disk where you store your backups, choose properties. Just above the pie chart showing the used space, you will see the filesystem in use on that disk. What is it? NTFS? FAT? FAT32?
