how often are builds updated - does build 6525 need updating or it is good - can i update build without uninstalling

How often are builds updated, does build6525 need updating . Any changes needed in future build Also do I have to uninstall current build or do you just update without uninstalling for a updated build.

I also have eraseus todo backup 7.5 paid version so how would compare the two
