How to remove Acronis Secure Zone? V8

Thread needs solution

V 8.0 build 791
I got the error that the secure zone was full. I thought I would just nuke the secure zone and start over with a new backup. I attempted to remove it from within the True Image program to no avail.

I followed instructions in article 1624 using fixmbr and fixboot and this did not work. This seemed like quite the technical option and I'm not sure I went about it correctly.  I did, however, get confirmation from the Windows Recovery Manager that my actions had taken effect.

Windows knows the drive as letter f:
The Recovery Manager knows the drive as drive letter d: NTFS \Device\Harddisk1\Partition1 and
drive letter g: FAT32 \Device\Harddisk1\Partition2.

I've already got about 2 hours invested. To save time I'm about to just go buy another SATA hard drive and junk this one.  But I'll give it another go if someone is willing to give me detailed instructions on how to continue using this drive. Thank you.

Problem solved. I read the fine manual and decided to just treat the drive as a new disk from within True Image.  I would suggest article 1624 be updated to include this as a viable option.
