How to restore disk backup made on another computer

Hello,
I have a computer with a failing drive, it-s too slow to create a backup on it. I have created a backup by plugging the failing drive into another computer. i am trying to restore however i am not getting the correct drive letters in the bootable media interface since the backup was created on another computer.
What to do?
