How to transfer activation Acronis 2013 from Windows 7 to windows 8
Hello
One month ago i decided to install Windows 8 on my Hp computer having actual system Windows 7 installed on it .
After checking compatibility the program say that Acronis 2012 , installed ont it , not compatible with windows 8
I had to buy the upatdate Acronis 2013 . That i did .
I installed this update on my Windows 7 because it is no a full version
To day i have installed windows 8 on my computer
So I would like now to install Acronis 2013 on my Windows 8 partition ..
How to do , Knowing that :
- I need to have Acronis 2012 installed on the system to install acronis 2013 update
- Acronis 2012 is not compatible with windows 8
- Anyway activation not possible two times

Just th last question ..
Do i have to desinstall before Both acronis( 2012-2013 ) on my old partition of system Windows 7 and in this case , installing Acronis 2013 ( entering the two serials ) will accpeted to be actived again ,as you say !
Because if not , the programm says " Please descativate the prévious install before making a new install"
And how to do that ?
Do you think cancelling old system ( partition ) is enough or do i have to desinstall properly the Acronis program first , before cleaning Windows 7 , Because it seems that is the only way to retrieve a new activation , when the new installation will connect the database registered key ?

If you're going to clean install Win8, on a clean partition (wiping out partition containing Win7 and ATI) then you wouldn't need to uninstall ATI. When the OS partition is wiped, everything is effectively uninstalled or non-existant.

But I thought that uninstalling the program, rather than formatting the area ,had for effect to liberate the license. As the license allows only one install How Acronis international GmbH can be warned when the program was uninstalled?
When I bought the update Acronis 2013 two weeks ago , I tried to install it on my other PC and he refused saying that I had to uninstall the first installation before attempting a new installation because it is a " single-user license ... "
Excuses me to insist ,but before trying anything wrong , i want to be shure not to lose my purchase

You should be able to install the 2013 upgrade. It will ask you for the 2012 serial number after you have entered the 2013 serial number, provide it. That should work.
Worst case, contact Acronis support through chat.

The problem is that free Acronis support is only 30 days after purchase and i get some help 2 days after the end of free support
Now i have to pay for that . It not interesting and instead to pay Acronis i prefere go to conccurrency in case of i was not able to install my program
It is possible to have free program that do quite the same
It is the reason why i cam here to get help
