image file increases after deleteing files using Acronis Home 2011

Thread needs solution

Hi

I try to backup a whole 20GB hard disk with Linux EXT4 using Acronis Home 2011.
There is 3 GB data.
Acronis image file is 1,2 GB.

After deleting some files on the hard disk and creating a new image file, the image file increases to 6GB!
This is reallay strange.
"shutdown -F -r now" on Linux before image creation doesn't help.
Does Acronis Home 2011 have any image problems with EXT4?

BTW I didn't have these problems with EXT3.

It could be other things are happening on your hdisk, system files e.g., if not that then you probably should contact acronis with a syustem reprot in hand that you create right after duplicating the problem.

from page 217 of the user guide for ati2011:
"
To generate a system report:
 On the main program window click the Help arrow, and select Generate system report, or
 Press CTRL+F7. Note that you can use the key combination even when Acronis True Image Home 2011 is performing any other operation.
After the report is generated:
 To save the generated system report to file, click Save and in the opened window specify a location for the created file.
 To save the report to file and send it to Acronis support team by e-mail, click Save and send.
 To exit to the main program window without saving the report, click Cancel.
