Image missing?

Thread needs solution

I am using True Image 2013 with Plus Pack. I have always made images and have good experience with them from the Windows Program or the PE Based (I guess it's called that) Boot disk the program ships with. I am currently using a Fujitsu T580 notebook computer. My problem is that when I try to make an Image, it goes through the steps and says image created successful. However when I go to the directory in Windows (I am using Windows 8) I don't see it, it is not there. I have never experienced this with True Image over the years. I am trying to get some suggestion on what might be happening. The computer that I am using was upgraded (clean wiped) to Windows 8 Enterprise.

Where did you store the image?
Are you an administrator on your Windows 8 system?
There are some permission issues on the folders/files created during a backup from the standard bootable Acronis Rescue Media that is Linux based. You would only have a WinPE (Windows based) Rescue Disk if you created the WinPE Rescue Media using the Windows Automated Installation Kit (AIK) for Windows 7 and the Acronis WinPE ISO Builder (part of the Plus Pack).
This issue is under investigation by Acronis.

 Hello all,

Thank you for taking time to contact us.

Chris,

James is right, the issue is under investigation.

Is the reported behavior reproducible, or have you experienced it once? If you are able to reproduce the issue again, could you please create an archive under Acronis Boot media and obtain Acronis system report from the Help section of Acronis Boot media (please generate Acronis system report prior to the reboot). After that please launch Windows, make sure that the archive disappeared and generate Acronis system report from the Help section of True Image installed under Windows.

Send us the both files.

Thank you.
