Increasing of Secure Zone takes to long....

Thread needs solution

Hi

I've tried to increase my Secure Zone (+10 GB) by decrease the size of my Systemdrive C: (after this, it should be 2 GB free on C:, if i dont miscalculate). After the reboot Windows XP start in a blank scrren, and i see a sporadic flashing drive-LED.

And I see the LED now (12 hours later) still flashing ...

Should I be worry ? Can I see any progress ? If I have I problem, how can I solve it ?

regards

Jörn

I have stopped the system and rebooted with a Linux CD (Ubuntu) and checked the Partition size. Nothing had changed. But if i try to reboot XP, XP startet the boot-session and after a while it blanks the screen. (I think it try to resize). How can i restore the normal XP-boot-session?

Update:
After I startetd Ubunutu again and search for files with a actuale date, i found AutoPartNt.exe . After i renamed it to AutoPartNT.ex and a reboot I am very happy to see my Windows again. But... what has happend? Is it possible that a pendig installation break the partioning request ?
