Initial synchronisation between two machines problem

Hello folks,

I've getting an incomplete synchronisation between my desktop to my laptop (I'm trying to get a copy of a bunch of folders on the desktop added to a clean folder on the laptop).

The desktop is reporting that my selected synchronisation is 18.74 GB - the Acronis on my laptop tells it's finished after downloading 4.89 GB (and clearly, it hasn't!).

What am I doing wrong? I'm using a trial version and synchronisation isn't limited/constrained. I'm starting with a clean folder in the laptop and space is not a problem on its hard disk.
