Is it possible to clone USB drives with ATIH?

Thread needs solution

I am replacing my external USB drive and I'd like to clone it to the new drive. Theoretically, I should be able to do this while the system is running, but that doesnt' work and I've tried booting to the recovery console and it seems that ATIH just *wont* see other-than-hardwired HDDs with its clone tool. Is that actually true or is there some trick I'm missing to get it to handle USB drives. Thanks!

Bernard,
What I am understanding is that you want to clone an existing usb onto a new usb.
Here is something you can try.

You should be able to perform the clone from within Windows or when booted from the Recovery CD.
HOWEVER, before attempting either, either from Windows or from the CD, use TI "add new disk" tools option so the disk is prepared first but the new disk will still be unallocated prior to the clone.

If that does not succeed, then create a very small partition on the new disk so that the target disk can appear in the selection of disks.
