Just one actual backup

Thread needs solution

I would like to just have one backup and no chronological backups.
The problem is, if I chose the option "just one version" Acronis copies every file again and this takes its time. Is there an option that acronis just saves the changes?

An another thing: I am searching for an option to just make backups if the HDD is connected and not a specified time. Is there a possibility?

It sounds like you are asking for two diff things but I assume what to want is to keep just one backup. To do that jsut overwrite the existing backup or make a cusom scheme to keep only 1 file.

If you want to backup only changes since the last backup, then do a differential backup, it will make a full backup the first time and only the changed sectors will be in the differential file made during each subsequent backup.
