"The last backup has failed" issue. But all backups are 100% OK :-?

Thread needs solution

Hello :-) WIN 7 + ATI Build 6525. I should be a happy user as all my backups are working / validating / restoring fine.

Only each backup (they are validated automaticaly + the email says the backup succeeded) shows "the last backup has failed" on the interface and adds a red cross. Then when I validate that backup manually it'is shown as "succeeded / ok". No errors on the disks and all my backups are perfectly restorable.

Do you have any advice how I can fix that ?
Does it come because I restored a few times ?
Another question is why do I have to reinstall the Starup Recovery Manager after each restore ?
Is this the normal procedure ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry for my bad english :-/

I have the same issue. Scheduled E-mail backup always complete with msg 'The Last backup has failed' but in reality as per the calendar they all completed ok and if I filter on the backupo that completed with errors there are none.

Why is Acronis reportng false error? Thanks.

jean-marc rivest,

According to your main menu as per attachment acronis_p1.jpg, at the time this attachment was screen captured,
1. The MyBAckupEmail scheduled task show the tib storage older having no tib backup files.
Have you looked inside the I:\My Backups\MyBackupEmail\ folder to see if tib files actually exist with this name?

2. Likewise, the scheduled My partitions Weekly 1F3D shows no tib files stored.
Have you looked I:\My Backups\My partitions Weekly\ folder to see if tib files exist with this name?
At the time this screen capture was made, had the Weekly on Sun time backup time been exceeded?

3. The non-schedule Full Disk Backup 2015-01-11 shows 1 tib file in existence dated Jan 11.
Have you confirmed that only one tib file exists in this folder?

If you find actual tib files inside the email folder or partition folder, perhaps a screen capture of the tib files listing would help to provide more information.

It is possible the best solution might be to stop using the problem tasks anc create all new tasks for the task which are not working correctly.
